For public adjusters

Contents is where the file stalls.

The structure gets settled off an estimate. Contents gets settled off a list somebody has to build by hand — line by line, with an age and a price against each one, and a carrier who will discount whatever nobody documented. Indemnia builds that list out of what your client already has, and shows the arithmetic on every line.

What it does on a claim today

Everything below is running now.

  • Intake a client's documentation — email receipts, room photos, and scans of the paper that never had an email.
  • Produce a schedule with replacement cost, depreciation and Actual Cash Value on every line.
  • Attach the source to the line it proves, so a figure can be traced rather than argued.
  • Read the carrier's own depreciation schedule and match it line-for-line against yours.
  • Track recoverable depreciation as it is claimed back, so nothing is left on the table.
  • Export a proof package with the schedule and the documents behind it.

The maths is shown, not asserted

A schedule that a desk adjuster can check is a schedule that survives being checked. Ours prints the replacement cost, the age, the depreciation applied and the resulting ACV on every line, next to the document it came from — so a disagreement is about one line rather than about the whole file.

  • Replacement cost, depreciation and ACV per line
  • The receipt or photo attached to the line it supports
  • Recoverable depreciation tracked against what the carrier has paid

We are working with a small number of firms while the adjuster track is built. If you have a contents claim open now, that is the useful place to start.
