Looking for a new home for your Encircle inventory?

Encircle retired its free home inventory app for homeowners on December 17, 2025. The company now builds software for restoration contractors only. If you used it to keep a record of your belongings, you need somewhere new for that record before you need it for a claim.

First, check what you still have. If you exported your inventory before the app closed, keep that file somewhere safe. If you didn't, contact Encircle support and ask what they can still give you.

What Indemnia does differently

  • The list builds itself. Connect your Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo account and we find purchase receipts in your email, going back years. You don't type them in. We only read your email. With Gmail and Outlook the connection itself is read-only.
  • Photos become items. Photograph a room and we identify what's in it.
  • It's ready for a claim. A loss report shows replacement cost, depreciation and actual cash value for each item, with the receipt or photo that backs it up.
  • It helps after the first check. When your insurer sends its depreciation schedule, we compare it to yours line by line and track the depreciation they still owe you.
  • Your record stays yours. You can download your inventory, receipts and reports on any plan, free or paid.

What it costs. You can start free and we find your first 150 items for you. Indemnia Home is $249 a year or $29 a month, with no item limit and your full email history.

Where Encircle was a better fit. Encircle's homeowner app was free. If you only want a free photo list, our free plan or a simple spreadsheet may be enough for you.
